St. Paul Students' Religious Education Tests Are Impressive!
St. Paul School recently received the results of the Springfield Diocesan Religion Test - also known as A.C.R.E (Assessment of Catechism and Religious Education). Grades 5 and 8 are tested.
Results are reported as such:
'Needs Improvement' (low score)
'Proficient' (good score)
'Advanced' (excellent score)
Here are the highlights of St. Paul's results:
» 91% of the 5th Grade Class scored 'Proficient' or above
» 95% of the 8th Grade Class scored 'Proficient' or above
» 57% of the 8th Grade Class scored 'Advanced' Results
Overall, the results were very impressive and show how much emphasis is placed on the study of our faith as well as traditional subjects.

St. Paul Students Score Very Well on Terra Nova Tests!

In nationwide testing of public and private schools through Terra Nova Standardized Tests, St. Paul Students score in the top percentiles nationally.

Current results of all 8th Grade Students:
» One half scored in the top 18%, in the nation, in Reading.
» One half scored in the top 25%, in the nation, in Math.
» One half scored in the top 17%, in the nation, in Science.
» In Reading, Math and Science, one quarter of St. Paul 8th Grade Students scored in the top 10% in the nation!

» St. Paul 8th Grade Graduates' average ACT composite score for the Mater Dei High School Class of 2007 is 27.5 (top 10% in the nation).
