Kindergarten students need many opportunities for hands-on
learning. By the age of five, children are also ready to be introduced
to many new skills, work habits and concepts that are the building blocks
for future success in school and in life. |
 |
Our goal for St. Paul Kindergarten is to enhance
learning, foster a healthy self-esteem and develop creative individuals
and problem solvers.
Our religion curriculum helps students learn about the Catholic faith.
Students attend Mass weekly, learn prayers and liturgical songs and listen
to and discuss stories from the Bible. |
 |
| The language arts curriculum features great children's literature
and leveled books for individual reading. Phonics, listening, comprehension,
journal writing, word knowledge and recognition of sight words are included. |
| The math curriculum covers many areas, developing reasoning
and problem solving skills. Science, social studies, computer skills,
art, music and physical education are all part of our daily curriculum
as well. |
| All subject areas are geared to our high expectations.
We are proud of our long-standing tradition of academic success at St.
Paul Catholic School and Kindergarten is where it begins! |
