Space Camp
When St. Paul students become 7th Graders, they look forward to
the annual trip to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. |
| The previous year, as 6th Graders, the students and their parents
begin the process of earning money for their trip to Space Camp
by hosting a Spaghetti Dinner, a Trivia Night and Market Day Sales. |
| When the big day arrives, students board a chartered bus at 5
a.m. and head for the first stop at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville
where they stretch their legs and take in the sites. |
| Once arriving at Space Camp, the students are introduced to a
tour guide who provides a full schedule of events for each day they
are there. |
| The guide is with them as they participate in each event, including
space simulators, the space shot, Ominimax theatre and museums.
It is a trip that promises a good time and as much information on
space and aeronautics as the students can possibly learn in three
days! |
| The Space Camp trip also fosters camraderie and fellowship amongst
the students... |
